Welcome to Free Ride. We are a volunteer run bike equity charity based in Te Awa Kairangi ki Tai (Lower Hutt, NZ). We run a community bike workshop, recycle bikes, and run programmes for our community, helping families to ride bikes, building confident riders, mechanic skills mentoring, activations, free fix ups and we are running free e-bike group rides and an e-bike library. Please see below for event information. Tickets for group rides are FREE.

Come and learn some skills to help you fix your own bike. This is a casual mentoring session on Thursday nights where you can learn as you go. Rangatahi welcome but must come with an adult.

This ride is an intermediate ride of about 20 km. Some parts are on trails, and through little mini forests. Ride one of our 10 e-bikes or ride your own. Coaching will be provided.
