Intermediate/beginner. Easy ride, mostly on the Hutt Trail. Going over bridges and back with a stop to play at Avalon park if tamariki are on the ride. We have the capacity to take up to 4 children on child seats on their parent or caregivers bike.

Bring your bike in on Saturdays (10am-1pm) or Thursdays (1pm-5pm) for a basic bike service to keep your ride running smoothly.

Our Saturday workshop is open for getting fitted for new bikes, helmets and safety gear. Come get a standard bike service or other services for payment on a sliding scale.

Adults learn to ride with confidence, build your skills riding on the road, with our skilled instructors. You can bring your own bike, or if you don't have one, we'll supply one, just let us know. Meet at the basketball court on Treadwell Street.

Ride along the Cycle Way to Historic Christchurch Taita and come back on back roads through Taita and Naenae partly following the Waiwhetu stream. This ride may include entry to the Taita cemetery for testing the bikes on hills. Some quiet Road riding. About 15 Km.

Riding from Free Ride through Lower Hutt, looking at notable and some protected trees. Information about the trees we see and other information about trees in the Hutt. 15 Km approx.

This ride is for Families in and around Avalon Park. All children must be accompanied by parents/guardians. PLEASE NOTE: There will be a CANCELLATION date for this event on Friday 4th October
