How to get a free bike

We created this service to provide equitable access to bikes.
Here's what you need to do:
-
Join free ride on our website so we have your details.
-
Come to our workshop to get fitted for a bike - The person who wants the bike must come for a fitting. You must listen to our staff when having a bike fitted, they are experts.
-
Think about where you live and what kind of bike you'll need, do you live on a hill, will you ride to work or just for fun, what kind of riding will you do?
-
We can get you a helmet if we have them, if you can give a koha, that would be great too.
-
We may have the right bike ready, or we may have to fit you on a bike that needs fixing. If this is the case, then we'll take your details and text you when your bike is ready to pick up.
-
If you need some support, sign up for our Whānau Bike skills training. You can also learn how to fix it yourself by attending our mechanic training sessions.
-
If you are supporting someone to get a bike, you can assist them to fill out the membership and bring them in.
-
If your bike gets stolen, we will need to see a police report before we replace it.
-
Any questions, please ask, we are here to help.
