We have been tinkering with the idea of how we can bring e-bikes into our community, for our community to try. Some of you would have already been involved in our Wheel Change project, giving some people access to e-bikes via a rent to own trail scheme.
Sadly we couldn't provide this ongoing, but read on for some e-bike news... we need your ideas and feedback to help us make e-bikes a successful part of Free Ride.
If you're involved in our current Wheel Change E-bike and E-scooter programme, we'd love you to come and see us at our workshop on Saturdays for a check in.
The scheme will be moving to the next stage, and Rich from Rebicycle will be in touch to let you know how we will set up payment for the scheme and what the options are if you don't want to keep your e-bike or scooter.
If you're not involved in our Wheel Change trial, we do have another opportunity to have e-bikes as part of the Free Ride offering in the future.
Because we are building a community of riders, we want your views to help set up our next project and we want to know how you would use e-bikes.
We'll also have some other programmes happening to build mechanic skills in the community, so let us know what you are keen to be part of.
We'd like everyone's opinion on our e-bike programme Let us know here.
